ART Intensive

When weekly sessions aren't enough, and you're ready to move.

Some healing asks for more than an hour at a time. The ART Intensive creates a concentrated container — days set apart from ordinary life — to do in one to three days what might otherwise take months to reach.

Relief that is really felt

What this is

Accelerated Resolution Therapy works directly with the nervous system — not with narrative, not with analysis, but with the images, sensations, and reflexes where distress actually lives.

In a standard weekly session, there is only so far we can go before the time ends and you return to ordinary life. The intensive changes that. With four to nine hours of dedicated time, spread across one to three days, we can follow the thread of your experience all the way through — past the surface, past the story, into the place where real movement becomes possible.

What brings people to an ART Intensive is as varied as the people themselves:

Trauma and PTSD
Grief that has taken root in the body
Anxiety that hasn't responded to talk alone
Phobias and specific fears
Distressing memories that surface without warning
The accumulated weight of experiences that never quite got processed

If something has been held in your nervous system long enough, the intensive offers a way to finally set it down.

More than time

A different quality of attention

The difference between weekly ART and an ART Intensive isn't only about the number of hours. It's about what becomes possible when you don't have to stop.

In weekly sessions, we begin, we make progress, and then we pause — returning to your life before the thread is fully followed. The intensive removes that interruption. We can go deeper, stay longer with what arises, and complete cycles of processing that would otherwise be spread across weeks or months.

For many people, this concentrated time creates a ritual quality — a few days deliberately set apart, devoted entirely to the work of healing. There is something in that intentionality that the psyche responds to.

Within a depth psychology framework, this matters deeply. As the nervous system processes and settles, the unconscious often begins to speak — in images and felt senses, in things that have been waiting for exactly this kind of unhurried attention.

What to expect

You are always in control

ART Intensives take place in person at my office in SE Portland, Oregon. The intensive runs between four and nine hours, held across one to three days — shaped entirely to your needs, your capacity, and what arises in the work.

No narration required

You will never be asked to speak about your experience in more detail than feels comfortable. Deep healing can occur without you needing to tell the full story aloud.

Shaped to you

The intensive is designed around your needs, your capacity, and what arises. There is no fixed agenda beyond following what wants to move.
